Ten years ago, after caring for several children injured as a result of falls from shopping carts, he began his quest to improve shopping cart safety. His work led to the development of a shopping cart modification that dramatically reduces the risk of falls.

About Shopping Carts

The shopping cart was conceptualized by Sylvan Goldman in 1937. Goldman was a co-partner in an Oklahoma City grocery chain who realized he could provide better service and sell more groceries if he had a means to help carry them. His initial prototype failed miserably. [read more ]
